Maxi needed new slippers for school.
They started like this.... a sweater from the thrift that I felted, some wool...
and turned into this! I was pretty happy with them considering I've never made slippers before. Max seems happy with them too and wore them all morning. He would like me to add some designs on them so maybe I will get to that tonight. 
Then, this afternoon, we made bird feeders. 
Holy crafty mama! These slippers are awesome! I started working on a template before Christmas, but haven't gotten very far and they keep staring at me from my pile of Projects Undone. I am so excited to try your approach (if I may borrow?!) Do I just make a template exactly like the one you show or is there a secret next step I should know about? I think I may blow off work this afternoon and try it! How are you, by the way? So done ready?
